Here we all can talk about great vacationing! Or great places we have been and the great deals we get on travel!I love to review travel products so I will start first.
I recently I have been looking for great ways to save on travel expences, you see, my family travels alot for Dog shows. Lets face it Hotels are so expensive!
A three day dog show will cost me about $75 per night in hotels fees, so add it up and now I have spent $225!! That doesn't even cover the cost of my gas and entry fees! Not to mention food. My friends and I will sometimes share rooms to cut cost in half, but usually even with the AAA discount it still cost us about $100 each for Hotel fees. So my dilema was to get into a discount travel plan that could cut this cost! Enableing me to attend MORE Dog Shows!
I researched several plans and found one I liked, The cost of the plan varried from $1999.00 to $11000.00!! So it scared me off a bit, but I kept looking and found someone who sold it a bit cheaper, so I came in on the low end with option to upgrade later. I spent about $800 and what I got was so well worth it, my renewal yearly to keep my travel plan is only $89, unlike other similar plans that ony allow you a 2-3 year duration at the discount rates...and $199 renewal, this one is only $89 a year for life!
I get unlimited travel to the best hotels and timeshare resorts for pennies on the dollar/ and most are even FREE, Cruises, hawaii, and so much more for free, FOR LIFE!
Anyway, enough hipe! Lets evaluate what I got, in plain terms, last month I booked a three trip through my discount vacation plan, it cost me $7 for booking, and about $6 per night for hotel taxes, so the total was $25 for three nights, my girlfriend and I shared the room, so it cost me just $12.50!! FOR THREE DAYS!! I also used my discount restourant card at Seafood Broiler/Red Lobster and Olive Garden, and saved an additional $100 bucks! I am so stoked!
But it gets even better! I have now booked a 7-Day 6-Night Stay at a Condo Resort in San Diego right on the beach! Guess what that cost me?? $140.00, Yep, not a typo.....One hundred and forty bucks COMPLETE!! two of my friends are joining me so we will split the fee of $140 three ways, for a whopping $45 bucks a piece for a 5 star condo resort 7-day stay!! I am so going to a ton of dog shows this year!
Such a deal, I am going to the Bahamas and Hawaii this summer with my hubby, and the total expences for each 7 day trip including airfare will be about $500 for both of us! Yah Yah! Cha-ching! My cost to get in has allready been covered in my savings on these few trips alone!
I looked at several Vacation plans, I liked this one the best, it offers car rental discounts, food discounts, plus so much more, way too much to mention here, I can even give away as many of my vacation vouchers as I want, I gave trips to Hawaii and the Bahamas for Christmas this year! My family and friends were so stoked, they can now AFFORD to go! Its so cool, I even gave away $5000 in vacations for a fund raiser raffle for my kids school. They raised so much money!
